On Wednesday in the morning we did Youth Town and it was fun to play Youth Town and we played cat and mouse. And their was cones and there was two teams and we had to run as fast as we could and then we have to run away from the cat and then we come back.

In the morning I made a bird nest and we made a a plan then we did it. First we did writing about what we were doing. These things we need 1x container 1x egg 2x carton leaves and twigs tissues paper towels and then I went out side to find twigs and leaves and then I drew my nest and then I drew my name in vivid.

This week is conservation week and we are learning to look after our birds and protect then and care for them. Fantails live every where in NZ. Fantails are endemic. It eat insects.

I was learning to put the number before a number. I looked at the ones number and then said the number it was easy because i know the numbers.

I was learning the magic e sound. I learnt to sound out the end and listen for long vowel. It easy to do.

I was saying un before words I can know the word means the opposite. It was tricky because I havent done it before.

I was learning to find the words with ld blends. I found some easy and a little bit tricky.

Adding in tens

I was learning to add tens. It was easy for me to do.

Baking ANZAC biscuits.

On friday we made ANZAK biscuits. then we  put  some flour and  it was fun and sugar  and   you  need  a baking cup a  some  butter and    a      knife. I enjoyed it. It was yum to eat.

I was learning to explain the features in fiction texts. I learnt how to do the problem in the story. It was easy to do the solution.

Spelling reflection:
I was learning to find words with short vowel sounds. I can do the short 'a' sounds now. It   was easy to sound the words It was  tricky to write at least  10   for  each  vowel  sound.
