I was learning to find information about an extinct bird that was once a native New Zealand one. It was easy because my buddy did it all and shared it with me.

I was learning to find similarities and differences in two birds. It was easy to find the information because I had a buddy to help me. I enjoyed looking up info about the birds I chose.

Solving Multiplication Problems Using Arrays

Reflection
 I was learning to solve multiplication problems using arrays. I got confused and counted all the flowers then I checked with the teacher and understood how to solve the problems using rows and groups. I need to keep working on this.

Explanation Writing

Reflection I was learning to write an explanation I found this tricky my teacher helped me.  I described how lettuces help us in the body and next I need to put this detail in the beginning. I used time connective to show a clear sequence of events. Next time I need to do more by myself.

Reflection I was learning to skim and scan to find information in a text. I worked with a buddy. I learnt that female kiwis are bigger than males. I enjoyed this activity.

Refection  I was learning to answer a range of comprehension question. I learnt that insects can camouflage into things.

Reflection We were learning about food chain. I wasn't sure what eagles eat but I talked to my teacher and looked it up. I found out that eagles eat other birds.

Reflection I am learning to identifying deferent fractions. I found it easy. Next I need to work on finding the fraction of a set.

Reflection I learnt that there is another way in telling the time in words and digital.
I found it tricky because I didn't understand it very well.
Next time I could work on not getting distracted and I need to keep practicing my 5 minute blocks.

Reflection I was learning to sort living things and non living things to put them in the right box. I found it easy because I know what is living and what is not.

Reflection I worked with a buddy to come up with a definition of a habitat. We shared our ideas with the class.

2 digit ten and ones

IALT use place value with 2 digit numbers.  It was easy write the answer.  I enjoyed doing this.  Next time I could try bigger numbers.

I was learning softball skills.  I was learning to bat. I had lots of fun.

Reflection I am leaning to find information  in non-fiction texts by skimming and scanning.  I find this tricky to find all the information. Next time I need to read the questions and text more carefully by looking for key words.

Reflection In this activity I was learning to do a statistical enquiry with a buddy. My buddy collected more of the data than me. of it than me. Next steps,  I need to work with my buddy more and ask questions.

Bio poem

Reflection In this activity I was learning to write a Bio Poem. I learnt what a Bio poem is. I found this tricky to do the correct structure. I enjoyed this activity and would like to write again.
